As a new Avon Rep and Leader I need ways to attract large amounts of Customers/recruit Sales Reps Suggestions?

Suggestions please!!

I would suggest you start with your neighborhood and put your flyers on every door possible.
Go to the school meetings, PTA, sporting events and use them as a networking session. Talk to the mothers and give them your brochure.
See if you can set up a booth at local craft fairs, shows, street fairs, etc.
Talk to everyone you meet and work your sales pitch into every conversation. People are generally curious as to someone does for a living. Use this to your advantage.

Market yourself at as many call centers as possible.

A. You can advertise for free on Craig's list

B. You can go to eLance.com and hire someone to write you a good sales letter then market it two ways, as a pay per click campaign on Google Adwords and also post as a publisher to clickbank.com to get thousands of affiliates working for you (potentially)

If you need a host for your website or minisite, I recommend Host4Profit. http://www.shortenurl.com/h4p

Advertise anywhere that you can, but be careful not to be so aggressive that you come across as pushy. Put posters/flyers up in public places. Send e-mails to friends/family and have them forward the e-mail on. If you have myspace or face book or any blog site, use that. I've seen Avon reps sell items on ebay as well, you could create an ebay store to sell stuff.

Good Luck!

It's hard to get a large number of new customers in a company that has been around so long already. Most people that buy Avon, Arbonne, those type products already have a rep. or are not interested in Avon.

But you might try asking if you can put business cards at your local chamber of commerce. Also, if you are crafty or know of some who is, you might design a t-shirt saying something like "I sell avon, ask me". You can get gel paints at local craft stores or wal-mart. That way you are somewhat a 'walking' billboard. You can ask some of your local Doctor's offices if they will allow you to leave some catalogs in their waiting rooms. You can put signs on your vehicle.

Before you try selling Avon on a service like Ebay, you need to make sure it is allowed. I had a friend who did Creative memory stuff and wanted to sell on Ebay but their policies and procedures would not allow her to.
~good luck

Congratualtions on being involved with Avon. It's an awesome company. If you are looking to make a massive recruiting effort try working with referrals of your present customers. The best people to talk to about other potential customers are your current customers. They may even prove to be good recruits for becoming sales reps.

If you're more prone to work online you can promote online various ways. The key here is learning how to do it and where. A lot of training is free.

Ask your sponsor! I'm sure she can help. I am a Sr. Leader for Purse Party and I work with my downline to help recruit and do sales!

The holidays mean lots of craft fairs. Get a table and lots of brochures. Ask the person who signed you up or your dm for help.
