Am I old enough to get a job?

I need want to make my own money, but I am not quite sure if I am old enough to get a job at like, a coffee shop or something like that. I need to know the legal age requirement to get a job in New Mexico.

I believe this states 16 for most non-farm work, and it gets more complicated if you are younger than that. To the first poster, if you read it again, she said NEW Mexico, not Mexico.

well u get the legal age in previos anser but still u think once again as it is the time to study and make ourself more competant to make more money at later age so do some thing which makes u a perfectionalist and develop your carrer...al the best
