Am I eligable for unemployment?

I recently did full time temp work for over 10 months. I received an offer for a permanant full tme position with another company. I took the position. After less than 10 days on the job they told me that they didnt think I was a "good fit" and i was let go. I applied for unemplyment benefits and was told that my claim is valid, however they have not paid out because they said i "quit" my position at the temp agency. I explained that I left only because of an offer for a permamnat position and when i was terminated from that position I went back to the temp to reassign me. I was told that there was nothing available. Am I eligable to collect ?

Sorry.........you quit.........your out............thats the way it is........

technechly no because you left one job for another on your own will. Then were not there for 6 mo. so your not elligiable to collect

Unfortunely you are not eligible for unemployment. It was entirely up to the temp agency to say yes or no, and since you did volunteeraly leave the temp agency they are not under any obligation to allow you your unemployment. The key word is "temp" although you did work full time for them, you were still considered as a "temp" and temperory workers are not eligible for workmans compensation.

Sorry but you are not eligible, as far as they are concerned you quit. They do not care why you quit, only that you did
