How many hours are sixteen year olds allowed to work a week in Illinois?

I just got hired at Kmart, and was wondering if there is a maximum amount hours that I can work in a week...during the school year and in the summer?

During the rest of the school year I am going to work weekends only and I am going to work full time in the summer. I am still in school. Is there a maximum amount of hours that I can work? Are the two different?

By "Are the two different?" I mean can I work more in the summer?

Here you go:
http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilc...

and here:

The PDF is larger and summarizes the law better than the first link.

Most of the restrictions seem to be minors under the age of 16. Since those under 16 can work 48 hours a week as long as school is not in session (summer), I think a 16 year old would be able to work those hours too.

But, I don't think that K-Mart would make you work that many hours every week - most of the retail stores try to have people that don't work full-time so they don't have to provide benefits.
