International Law and where to study it?

I was thinking of pursuing international law after undergraduate graduation...I'm currently presiding in America, so I am wondering what colleges/universities offer int'l law as a degree? I'm actually not too fond with this field since I was going to pursue law, but I didn't like the fact that if I did it would really only apply to law here in America, meaning I would basically be stuck here for the rest of my life, so I thought that maybe International law would be better choice since it would be..well, international? Please correct me if I'm misled.

Also, I did some mild looking up in google about international law and what I saw was just a lot of european, UN type deals. If I were fluent in Mandarin and such, then I was hoping to pursue international law between like, Asia and America or something of that sort...is that possible?

You can still find work in Asia with an American Law Degree. You would be engaged in negotiating contracts between local and American firms. NYU has a joint program with the National University of Singapore, NUS, for a one year graduate program offering JD and LLB, British Law Degree recognized in all the Commonwealth Countries.

It would be very difficult for you to practice law in Mandarin even if you were fluent because you may miss nuances of the language a native speaker would be familiar with. That's why native speakers with American Law Degrees are engaged for contract negotiations.

Good Luck!!!
