Would I ruin my life if I transfer colleges? |
Currently, I am a freshman at Mount Holyoke College. NO !! Not at all No, you are not ruining your life. You are 18 and can start making decisions on your own. Visit your financial aid office for advice. They will tell you about loans, grants, etc. OMG Absolutely not. Although the school you attend is important, but they look for much more than just a name and transferring to another school does not at all effect you. Your grades, achievements while you were in school, letters of recommendation, your personal statement, your LSAT score. Sweetie your life is far, far, far from ruined. Please do not lose sleep over it. You will be just fine. You certainly haven't ruined your life. You've done well in school so far - keep up the good work at your new school, and you'll be fine. I am curious as to where you got your information that a transfer is going to ruin your chances of getting a job or going to graduate school? |
