Do FBI agents get paid well? |
Do FBI agents get paid well? I heard they get paid horribly. But thats according to what people are told, I'm pretty sure they are paid very very well just are hiding it. Define Well. Depends on what you do for the FBI. Like any job, it depends on alot of variables - like what they do, where they are located, type of education / experience, amount of risk in the job, etc. They are extremely difficult jobs to get and depending on the position, you'd have to pass a full security background check to get a security clearance - - be prepared to have many many years of your life examined and to provide personal and professional references (neighbors, teachers, etc). it depends, but I know my dad is an FBI agent who directs undercover agents, and we live in a higher middle class suburb of Chicago with no financial problems. $50,000 is a good start. |
