I need to know if a person draws workmans comp can you draw unemployment from that job in kentucky??

No you may not. If you do and get caught, you will be ordered to py it all back and risk losing your unemployment compensation for ever.

No, you must be able and willing to work, that's the catcher if you are on comp you are not able.

no... workman's comp is payment for you not working,, but still have your job... you are not unemployed, you have a job... eventually you will have to go back to work...

if you get unemployment, the job you worked at has to pay that,, and if you are collecting workmans comp.. the workmans comp will make you pay back everything they paid to your, lawyers, doctors, etc.....

You pick one or the other. I suppose if given the opportunity you would want to collect social assistance as well as unemployment and disability? Kentucky , huh?

No you cant your already claiming your injured your getting money from the job you "cant" work. You cant claim unemployment if you cant work, and you cant work if your getting workscomp.

why don't you just ask the unemployment office...just be truthful....you never know, rules change....probably no, though...but since you aren't working, you have time on your hands so ask the authorities

If you are collecting Workers Comp you are not ABLE to work.

I believe that you can only collect one or the other, but as I understand it, Workman's comp. may last much longer then unemployment. I believe that depending on the states' regulations, unemploment can be collected for as little as 8-10 weeks. Where are Workman's comp. can be granted until the person is declared fit to work, or permanently disabled.
