Where can i find free public records and/or background check? my job is asking for criminal history. =\? |
where can i find free public records and/or background check? my job is asking for criminal history. even though i only have like 2 or 3 misdemeanors (for fare evasion and open container of alcohol twice i believe), they still want them listed in the review since i am working with children. help! i need these records! oh also.. i'm from NY. if that helps. You can get them free from your state department of justice. You don't say what state you are in, but here are links for California You can get them at the following sites :- Not sure about New York -- where I live you simply go to the County Sheriff and have them pull your sheet, then to the City Police for your sheet. |
