I am not good at navigating through Lexis Nexis, its so confusing, I am a paralegal student needs good tips?

I need to research 2 possible cases involving attorney-client conflict of interest in regards to competent representation for the client.. and lexis Nexis is relaly confusing to navigate. Does anyone have any useful tips or sugg's?

Thanks

Ugh! I agree, I dislike using Lexis, I much prefer Westlaw. Like the first poster said, for your search options, instead of natural language, use the "terms and connectors". There should be a little guide there that gives you the symbols. Like /s means "in the same sentence". That way you can modify your search.

Good luck!

Use the "terms and connectors" rather than "natural language". Suggested search terms: "attorney-client" /15 conflict /5 interest /25 competent
