What are your thoughts, I work for a large HMO. About ONE MONTH ago incidents occured at the job between anoth

another employee, harrassment, threats etc. The HR Dept canceled 3 times, it seems as though no one is doing anything about it. The person is a union member. So the union representing me in this case is a conflict of interest. I feel no one is on my side. should i get a laywer.

it also seems that certain management is favoring this particular individual.

Yes, get a lawyer.

If you feel like you are being harrassed and no one is taking you seriously, go to the Employement commission or get a lawyer.

Be advised, however, that if you this, it will make it very difficult to stay in the job you are in. Hope you have a very good case.

If you feel you were harrassed and no one at the job is doing anything about it, get a lawyer.

I would move onto another employer since it might fairly costly, time consuming, and there is the risk of losing, especially if the company appears to be protecting the other individual.

You may want to talk to an attorney just on a initial consultation to get a feel for your situation and whether you have a worthwhile case. The attorney could give you a better idea as to the time and money you would need to invest, and possibly whether it is viable.
