PA labor law? |
can you be payed less than a co-worker ,if you are doing the same exact job with the same job title??? seniority has no bearing on pay in this co no, but there can be a policy of encouraging women for instance. it also depends on your work like models are different and can be payed different because of their name. Yes. There can be different levels of experience, or one worker could have been hired during a period when the company was hard pressed to find employees and offered a higher wage. There can also be a shift differential. Sure you can. That happens all the time. Maybe the other person is doing a better job, or maybe they're just a better negotiator. |
