What are the difference of private and public law.?


What are the difference of private and public law.?

The best distinction I can give is the difference between criminal and civil law.

Criminal law involves wrongs committed against the state.

Civil law involves wrongs committed between private parties, although the government can sue and be sued civilly.

I don't know that there is a distinction...

All laws are public, including case law...
