If you get a law degree, do you necessarily have to be a lawyer? |
Are there any types of jobs in law that do not require being an actual lawyer? If so, what are they, and how much do they pay typically? Only legitimate answers only please. Thanks. There are several careers where you might have a law degree, but might not be admitted into bar as a lawyer. For instance, there is a paralegal, which earns from $35,000 to $50,000. You don't have to practice law if that's your question but if you pass the bar, you're still a lawyer whether you practice or not. There is a book called Nonlegal Careers for Lawyers by Gary Munneke. You might want to check it out. FBI or Secret Service agent to name a few occupations. When you say law degree... do you mean a bachlors or like an honest to go grad school Law Degree?!!? |
