I'm moving to Las Vegas,looking 4 rm 2 rent.Is there a bad area?

There are a LOT of bad areas in Las Vegas. It depends on what kind of neighborhood you are used to and what you consider to be "bad".

Almost any part in or around downtown is bad. Generally if the street name is a letter or number run away!

Better areas in the Valley are Aliante, Mts Edge, Summerlin, and Green Valley. Many areas in Henderson are nice. "Old" Henderson or downtown Henderson is a little older with some bad neighborhoods.

there are tons of bad areas but lot and lot of good one I would check out craigslist.com and look for people who are renting out rooms to begin with you can meet a few people see who like best them make you own choice on what seems right at the time tell you can learn the city better

Moved from NJ in 2006 took an apartment t the Summit at SunRidge on S. Eastern in henderson. Nive place and very affordable. You will be happy. It is also called Piccerne Properties.
They have the Equestrian down the street.
They have a number of good apts. Good - safe and near new schools if the kids needs that.

I know someone looking for a roommate, he lives in a nice house in a gated community in a good part of town. Depends on how much rent you are willing to pay. There are some REALLY bad and dangerous run down areas so be careful.
