Is the animal shelter in kc wayside waifs really that good?

ive heard some good things and some bad things about wayside waifs in kcmo what do you think i would really like to know

ok so here is the real deal ok i work at wayside waifs and it is a kill shelter but we only euth if the animal has agrestion problems or it is mentaly and phisicaly unadoptable we do not put a time limit on our animals unless they are becomming stressed and even then we have a foster care program that we put them in to try and solve this problem euth is a last resourse and if you visit no kill shelters you see "crazy" dogs that you would never adopt and even then they transfer them to a kill shelter knowing thy wont pass there agression/ behavior evaluation so please let me know what you think about wayside because we would really love to know

From my understanding, Wayside Waifs is a kill shelter. This means they euthanize any animals seen as un-adoptable or those who go several months without any interest from potential adoptive families. While I see this as a downside, others certainly may not.

Wayside Waifs is excellent!!....if you visit any or all other pounds/shelters in mo and ks,including joco..wayside is by far the best...I have adopted several dogs thru the years from them.There animals are very well cared for and there vets are great...they are very medically sound and care for the well being of there animals...the only downer is they are high$$,to adopt,way more than the regular pound,but you get a sound pet,heathy pet,I highly rec them.
