How can I get a fair chance at a fair job if I'm disabled? |
I have been working my butt off looking and applying for jobs. The problem is every time I go to an interview I never get the job and I think it's because I am disabled and have use of only one hand. My computer skills and my interviewing skills are exceptional. How can I have a fair chance at a job if everyone else that applies for the same job has the use of two hands? How can I prove to these employers that I can handle the job responsibilities without them choosing someone else that doesn't have a disability for the job? File a complaint with disabilities, in your state. I found a place in your town that will help you to find a job, maybe you could even apply there. It sounds like you would make a great counselor. maybe you can find a job that you could work at home and be you're own boss. I am sure you would be awesome at a stay at home job.
