Lead free apartments in kansas city MO?

I live in Whitehall apartments (323 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd, kansas city, mo )
i just found out that lead in the paint may be harmful.
any suggestions for apartments that are lead free in and around the area?

I would verify with your apartment complex that the paint has lead base or if it's lead free. It is against the law for buildings to have lead paint and if it does ask the apartment to strip the paint and repaint with lead free. The American Cancer Association has based findings of even breathing the lead in paint for long term can cause lung cancer. Best of Luck.

Most any built in the last 20 years should be lead free since we knew about the hazards at that time. The lead isn't too harmful unless you eat the paint from the walls. lol

If you aren't eating the painted trim around doors and windows you have nothing to worry about.

Leads are probably in the paint if your home is pre-1978 built..
leads are very harmful if it's loose (if you try removing them)
or if they are chips and bits..hire pro when removing them.
