Is there or had there ever been a furniture store by the name of Davidson's at 1211 Grand Ave? |
Bought a dresser today with "Davidson's 1211 Grand Ave" stamped on the back. It has 2 sets of 3 holes on the top where I believe something may have been mounted at some point in time and I'm trying to find some way of obtaining more information about this piece of furniture. As far as the Store, I would go to the Main Library at 10th and Baltimore. they have a wonderful old collection of old phone books to verify the address and dates. they also have period pictures of Grand ave. My office is right behind that address. That store hasn't been there in 30 years. |
