Im looking for a 12 or 14 hour video blank tapes for my vcr for recording outside of my house. Please help?

i'm looking for a 12 or 24 hour blank tapes to record my home i live alone and hearing impaired please help... Dont know who to turn to about this.

the longest tape i saw was 8 hrs. But i read it somewhere that u can get the vcr that streght the tape.. 400 dollars.. sorry, i couldn't remember it now.
