It's the same as the UK 17.5%.

21% is the norm in Ireland. If you google vat rates in Ireland it will give you various web sites to glean more information.

In view of the other answers I've read here, I've checked the website again and it states, "In most cases, vat is 21%" However, there are rates of 4.8% and 13.5%
