Road Tax??

Does anyone else think Road tax is a joke? We are forced to buy road tax and then ya go out in your car and hit a pothole, which results in your wheels getting mangled and then have to pay for new wheels. We should be able to claim your road tax back to buy new wheels.

Your spot on! We pay total 鈧?100 for both cars and I've had to replace 4 tyres this year because of bloody pot holes(Meath)!

Maybe the police should spend time fighting crime than Guard check points looking tax offenders!

I think road tax is a joke yes but remember it all depends on your car now, i used to pay a hundred and odd quid for my road tax til i switched cars now it's 35 quid....i was stunned how cheap it was!!!

I agree it is a joke especially the new way they do it now, larger vehicles cost more. Smaller cars get used just as much as large ones - it doesn't make sense!

The road tax is a joke.
I only take my car out to the shops an odd time. Probably only drive about 100 miles a week, yet my car tax is the same as everyone Else's.
The more you drive the more you pay is what I say.
Put the tax onto the petrol then its solved
