Question regarding tax and part-time work.? |
Ugh, this is really bad, but anyway... nothing to worry about, just say you havent been given a P45 and ask your employer for a form P46, complete your section about this job being you only current job etc.., they will send it off and within a few weeks they will issue you with a standard tax code of 522L. Don't panic. Tell your current employer that you do not have a P45 and complete a P46 instead. Gismo, If you are in the Republic of Ireland, you should check out the Revenue guide on "Your First Job" at http://www.revenue.ie/services/ind_work1... It's slightly different to the other advice given here, which relate to the UK. |
