No. The marketing people at the fund companies will work hard to sell funds directly because they are more profitable that way.

Also, small funds can't work as ETFs. An ETF requires a certain amount of size to achieve liquidity.

i think it is inevitable, I wish all funds where ETFs it makes more sense
