Where can I buy unleaded gasoline futures?

I'm afraid that fuel prices will rise. I'd like to buy a lot of gasoline at today's price, by my car only has a 12 gallon tank. How can I buy an gasoline futures so I can take delivery of the gasoline as I need it?

For example, "One of Southwest's many innovative practices is the way it protects itself (by 'hedging') against rising fuel prices. In many such situations, a company might simply buy futures contracts on the commodity in question, locking in certain prices early."

Thanks!

You don't use enough gasoline to take advantage of the hedging that large corporations use to lock in prices.

The quantities involved are more gasoline than you would use in years so the profits or losses on your contracts would far far exceed the change in your cost for the gasoline for your car. This means that you can not lock in your fuel costs by trading futures.

And you are not and never will be in any position to accept delivery all at once on even one contract. They don't deliver by the gallon, tankful, or even tanker full. And they don't deliver to your address.

This has been a little sloppy and very simplified attempt to help you see that what you are talking about is not for individuals. Hope you get the message.

Gasoline goes off if stored for more than a few months. It's also extreamly flamable and explosive so storing large amounts is very dangerous. You can buy a couple of JERRY CANS like the ones used by the army and store say 40 gallons at a time quite safely tho.
