Any stock experts? (Wachovia. WB)?

Friend of mine inherited about 8,000 shares of Wachovia stock. We know nothing of stock. Can anyone give any advise?

Your friend should probably put it into a brokerage company such a Scottrade.

I would hold onto it.

yea hold on to it and sell in 2009 when the stock comes back up...dont sell them now...they're worth $217,000 today you can get double that if you wait for the stock to get back on it's feet :)

WB is down 50% in the last 12 months, why not move the money into stocks that have proven they are only going up for the same period and longer?
