Why do so many stocks report earnings before and after market? |
If you have an options position, you could lose it by the time the regular trading rolls around if volatility is high enough! It is probably to give eveyone an equal chance to buy or sell instead of limiting it to those who hear about it just after the report is issued if it were issued during trading hours. |
