What are the best sliver coins to buy for investment?

I have boughed some american eagle in the past what else is a good bet.

You seem to be interested in silver coins for the silver. It doesn't make any difference as long as they are .999 fine silver.

American Siver Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs, & Mexican Libertads are probably the best (& mostly highly recognizable) .999 silver coins on the market. They all have a fairly high premium, though. Other good "bullion" coins include Englehard, J & M, & APMEX. These are privately issued, there for are considered silver "rounds" ("coins" can only be minted by governments).

.999 fine silver should be a good chunk of any silver investment. However, I would also HIGHLY recommend loading up on what is known as "junk silver" which is pre-1965 US 90% silver coins. Probably the best (& most economical) way to start investing in silver. You can get it for close to spot price, & sell it anywhere at anytime. It is univerally accepted as a form of silver. You can buy "$1000 face value" bags, but these typically go for around $13,000 or so. An easier way is to just buy as much as you want whenever you want, adding to your stash as quickly or as slowly as you want. You can find junk silver at almost any coin shop, or on Ebay.

My favorite "junk" silver are the old Morgan & Peace dollars, & old mercury dimes. Buy 'em by the roll, or by the coin. Beautiful coins, & a great way to invest in silver.
