Anyone know anything about micg? That's the ticker symbol for microfield group.?

I bought the stock because it seemed to have an excellent business at the right time. Now it's tanking and i don't know why....

No buy, sell or hold recommendations.

It violates every one of my trading rules.

> The last trade was at 46 cents.

> It plummeted for 5 months. THEN for the most recent 14 months, it did virtually nothing but go sideways.

> It has very, very, very little volume.

You should invest in stocks which consistently trades at least 500,000 share per day.

You should invest in stocks with prices of at least $15 or more per share.

There are other factors you should considder and rules you should adopt AND follow. Among them are checking the news - which can be done by scrolling down on the Yahoo Finance page.

Go to http://finance.yahoo.com/

You'll see a box on the left center "GET QUOTE". Begin typing the correct spelling and you'll see several drop-down menus.
A] Under the "HOME" tab is a blank box. Begin typing the symbol or the company's name. As you are typing a drop down menu will appear with symbols.
B] When finished click on the "GET QUOTE" button. The quote for that stock should be displayed.
C] On the left side is a blue box. The 3rd line down is "Options". Click on that.

Y! A as a "Featured Knowledge Partner". It also has a free virtual trading or paper trading platform.

FYI [For Your Information]: you can only get quotes for publicly-traded corporations - not any private corporations or a corporation which isn't publicly traded.

http://investopedia.com has a free, paper trading platform. You can set up a virtual account and almost trade as though you were trading with your own hard-earned money. It鈥檚 recognized by Y! A as a "Featured Knowledge Partner"

It's your hard-earned money.

Before you invest, you really should do research about what you are investing in.

As you do your research about investments, sometimes you'll come across financial or investment terms you never heard before. You can usually find excellent, easy-to-understand definitions of many financial and investment terms by using Investopedia.
