Can anyone tell me where I can find company financial statements online that can be exported to excel?

I'd like to be able to download Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Statements of Cash Flow into Excel to compare companies side by side. Thanks.

Hey there,

You can use a website like MSN Money to find financial statements (or any website that has them in tables)... for example:

http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/inv...

Then to import this table into excel you can use a tool called web query

In excel 2007:

click the data tab, and then click "from web"... a mini-browser will pop up and then you paste in the url from above. Click the yellow arrow to select the table you want and then click "import".

In 2003, the process is similar: go to the data menu, then "import external data" and then "new web query" and follow the same steps as above.

Hope this helps!! It is a real time-saver!
