What major is needed to work as a stock broker? |
I want to become a stock broker what are some suggestions for college courses...should i take up finance? While understanding business is a good thing for a stockbroker, it isn't necessary. A stockbroker is really just a salesperson. In the US you need to pass the FINRA Series 7 exam as well as the Series 63 exam. You don't need a degree to be a stock broker. If you can pass the test, they will give you the license. Some firms will sponsor you to take the test, if you come to work for them. |
