Is there a Brokerage firm besides E*Trade that provides Debit/ATM Card? |
I recently tried E*Trade for about 5 months and have found their customer service to be much less than helpful. I do however like that they have the ability to withdraw funds using an ATM/Debit card. Are there other brokerage firms that provide this? If so, who? Yes! Charles Schwab offers a great product called "High Yield Investor Checking". This is a checking account that is linked to your Schwab One Brokerage account (regular investing account). The funds for the checking can be transferred directly between the two accounts (it's almost like just having 1 account). The greatest benefit of the High Yield Investor Checking account is that the ATM fees are FREE at EVERY ATM IN THE WORLD! All you need to do is hit accept for the fee at every ATM and Schwab will rebate the fees into your account. Never worry about finding a Wells ATM or a BofA ATM..go anywhere you want to pull out cash. Also the interest rate is typically much higher than almost every checking account on the market. Edward Jones dose, but I think you have to have the money in your Money market account...... |
