How do you know when an IPO for a company will happen? |
There are a few private companies I'm following and hoping to invest in. Short of reading the news every single day - is there some way to be notified when the IPO is about to happen? I have no big player - "best customer" pull. We're talking a few grand or so that I'm able to invest. Yahoo Finance & MSN Money have financial calanders that list what is do out for the coming month Unless the CURRENT owners decide to take the company public, the IPO will NEVER happen. There is no law in any jurisdiction that requires a private company to go public. Your best option would be to TALK to the company. You must have inside contacts. If you didn't you would not be ABLE to follow a private company. They DON'T have publicly available financial reports. |
