So what is going on with sallie mae?

seriously, their stock is tanking and their management is panicking, and everything seems to indicate they are going to go belly up,...

what does everyone else think of sallie mae?

what will happen to their low level employees?

New home sales hit a 12 year low, raising fears of a recession. Sallie Mae is a broken stock in a broken sector, although it appears slightly undervalued in relation to analysts estimates, I would not touch it, unless you are certain that we will see a rebound in the sector, which appears unlikely at this time. Pehaps just keep it on the radar and watch it.
