What do u think of Berkshire Hathaways future? |
personally i believe it will grow, then grow some more, then just keep growing because warren buffett is 'in my mind' one of the smartest people on this planet. what do you think? BRK probably will continue to do well for a large cap company--great management, stakes in other excellent businesses, etc. I doubt that it'll be able to grow at 20%+/year in perpetuity (no company could) but it should continue to produce safe returns long after Warren. I assume Lou Simpson will take over the investing side of things after Warren FWIW. Warrren Buffet continues to buck the trends and grow his business and wealth. He just spent 4.5 billion (yes Billion) on another company he sees opportunity where others dont see anything. Thats whay he doesn best. Google him or read the wall street journal to learn more than you can in a yahoo message board. Kinda steep price though if your looking to buy stock. My username says it all. I think that the company has a great future ahead. I have heard that the companys stock usually outperforms the S&P index. I am a little concerned about the succesion plan after Buffet, but I hear that plans are in place, so in short I think as long as Buffers philosophy of investing is used in the future, it will continue to be a strong company |
