How can I buy and hold Berkshire Hathaway (Class B) shares within an ISA?

Berkshire Hathaway Class A and Class B shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The symbol for Class B shares is BRKB. As of this morning, BRKB traded at around $4,660 per share, up about $87 from yesterday's close.

Legally, you can pick the stocks for a self-select ISA. But, as I understand it, the amount you can invest in an ISA is limited to either 拢3000 or 拢7000, depending on the type of ISA.

拢7000 is about $14,000, which means you could buy about three shares of BRKB. Check with your ISA provider whether that makes sense for you.
