What is the future of Citigroup? |
I bought 100 stocks for $33.26 and I am worried because of the drop in price. Will Citigroup rebound in 2008? I assume you mean 100 shares, not stocks of Citigroup. This company is in serious financial difficulty, and the worst is yet to come. They will be writing off more loans, but at the moment, have no idea as to how much. The odds are the dividend will be cut, but don't know by how much and when. The housing mortgage mess has not come to a climax yet, as more teazer loans will come due this spring. It will be fine as long as they keep the almost secret practice of giving 3 cents off a gallon of gas to seniors citizens. they will survive. |
