What is Book Value of Share ?

is book value change. what is EPS and PE ratio.
At what Level we purchase any share. and what we see i.e BV, EPS, PEratio. or dividand %.

ok here we go.

1. shareholder equity / # of shares outstanding = book value
it is what a company is worth if it was not a public company.
some people believe that if a company is selling for less then book value , that it is undervalued.
2. net income/ # of shares outstanding = earnings per share or eps.

3. p/e ratio= the price of the stock / earnings per share
some people use this as a way to see if a stock is overvalued or undervalued compared to its industry.
