Should I put my money in Gold or the Euro? And why?

Or something else like the British Pound? I think we could be headed for a BIG currency decline. What will have the most value if/when the dollar bottoms out?

Put it in gold. Fiat currencies always lose value on a continual basis. The Euro isn't backed by anything. Gold is a hard currency and has exactly the same purchasing power that it had hundreds of years ago.

US DOLLAR!!!! haha just kidding...id say gold should be pretty steady

Gold Stocks of Producing Companies.

I heard that our US dollar is going to crash and it's estimated to happen in 2 to 4 years. That is when the borders to Canada and Mexico will open and we will have the same currency.
Since Gold will always be a scarce resource I would invest in that rather than the Euro. When the Euro was introduced our dollar declined in value. What will happen to the Euro when the new US dollar is introduced?

Gold. Hopefully soon, Gold and Silver will be able to compete against the fiat federal reserve paper notes.

It's always good to have some exposure to Gold, but currency wise, I would bet on the Yuan over all currencies right now....it is and has been for some time, a very undervalued currency.

gold should gain after a breather in early 08 (a short term dollar rally), but i think silver has even more upside potential.

as for currency, i'd seriously consider the RMB Yuan.

it's still way undervalued, and once it's fully convertible, its value could go beyond RMB 2 to $1 in 5 to 20 years from RMB 7.4 to $1 today (not without wide fluctuations, probably...)
