Is a $100.00 bill made in 1934 worth more than $100.00?

Is a $100.00 bill made in 1934 worth more than $100.00?

It depends upon the condition of the bill.

In "very fine" condition it retails for about $140.

In "uncirculated" condition it retails for about $270.

In "rag" or "good" condition it is probably only worth $100 since it is not considered a collectable bill.

If the serial number includes a star it will be worth more, possibly over $1,000 in "crisp uncirculated" or "gem uncirculated" condition.

yup. At very minimum its worth about 140$ Depending on many different factors, it could fetch as high as 1,000

only if you had kept it in a CDin the bank all those years

in a collector's eye, probably $1000 now

in a homeless person's eye, it worths as much as the current $100.00 bill.

in my eyes, they are equal. cash should be obsolete, everything is either credit or plastic now.
