What you mean by 'Thin Trading' is Financial Market context? For example, a stock is rallied a whole day except five or ten minutes before closing time. Suddenly, there is no bidding for it, "thin trading", it's something like you're stacking up a new building and someone pulls out the flooring suddenly! In this situation, if the stock didn't fall back, a sign used by big or institutional traders sometimes, then it's healthy and the big traders will push it up again the day following :-) When a stock or bond has very little volume it can be called a "thinly traded" security. |
