Lost share Certificate?


can any one tell me wat do i do i have lost my share Certificate
i dont know when. i had i for long time .i had around 500 know i only have 300 so can any one tell me who do i ask help for an wats the process

You will need to contact the broker that issued the shares. You should have been getting annual reports and proxy's to vote. The broker info should be with that kind of info in your files.
It will cost around $25 to reissue the shares. If you bought shares at various times it will cost $25 each. Example you buy 300 then 200 it will cost $50 if you lost both certificates.

You can also call shareholder relations of the company where you owned the stock. Best to hold stocks in "Street Name" (in a brokerage account, not certificate form. Just make sure they don't have fees for holding the one stock.)
