Would anyone take out the minimum savings account and invest it in a CD ? |
I have $300 (the minimum to open a savings account) in a savings account that earns less that 1%. I also have a credit card card from a local bank. $300 at 5% is $15 per year. Is it worth all the effort for that amount of money? Plus you lose the flexibility of accessing the $300 in a CD, if you need it to pay a spur of the moment bill. |
