Blue chip cover birth control? |
Will my insurance (Blue chip) cover birth control? If you have Pennsylvania blue chip, It will cover it only if it is medically necessary. It will require an authorization. The doctor should fill out a medication request form. If you want it for the sole purpose of contraceptive use they will not approve it; it will only be authorized when used for treating a medical condition. If it is not Pennsylvania (Highmark) blue chip, then scratch that. Because I do not know anything about the other ones. There are too many plans in each state, you'll have to call them and ask. |
