Is it possible for businesses to buy medical coverage for their employees from the government?

If it is and if businesses bought disablility level medical insurance from the government, would it help put money into governmental medical programs?

You don't say what country you are a citizen of. If it is the United States the simple answer is that the government does not offer medical programs for sale to employers.

In the US, the first question is a no, so the second question is moot.

If the first question was 'yes' the money would probably go into some Senator's Swiss bank account. The government isn't here to help people.

The only medical "coverage" that government offers, is medicare and medicaid. There are strict guidelines for who is eligible - you can't "buy" into it.

So no. If a business wants to buy medical coverage for their employees, they have to buy insurance through a company authorized to sell insurance in their state - an insurance company.

Disability is NOT the same as medical coverage. Health insurance companies do NOT make the outrageous profits that people seem to think they make. They typically pay out $.99 for every $1.00 they take in, in premium. MOST businesses would go out of business, with that kind of profit margin.

And pouring money into government programs is typically a waste of money - whatever the program is. Usually 80% of the money goes to administrative costs, and half of the rest goes to pay fraudulent claims.
