My brother is going into the insurance business? lost his last job?

My brother is taking online classes for this life insurance company and different other kinds of insurance, but right now he is unemployed til he finishes the tests and i wanted to buy him something for Christmas that he can use, any ideas?

now that first lady is wrong... you dont need to work 80 hour a week to make it in the insurance business.... get him a brief case... or file folder to carry forms in...

Most insurance agents fail.... 1. they won't get up in the morning to work( agents are 1099 self employed, unless you get a deal direct with a company in the home office)... 2. They are scared of making and talking on the telephone 3. They just don't have the nack for the job ( not everyone can be an insurance agent)

I have been in the business for 3 yrs and my husband had been doing this for over 24 yrs and he recruits for high end insurance companies and trains agents..

Not much you can get for an insurance salesperson. Most of them wash out, because they either can't selll, or won't work the 80 hour weeks you need to succeed . . .

I would suggest buying him a nice suitecase as this will be useful when he becomes an agent. You will want to obtain something fairly big prefferably with rollers.

Depends. If he's going to be a debit agent, buy him a good top coat. If he's going to be a roadwarrior, a pda might be nice or tire pressure monitors. If he's going in to an online shop with no telephone action, jeans or pajamas might work.
