Can a community support agency withhold pay for hours worked because medicaid did not pay company for hours? |
Community support agency failed to verify approved hours that NC State Medicaid would pay for services rendered. Medicaid did not approved services, therefore agency did not pay workers for hours already worked. In my opinion staff work for community support agency, not the state. Since the agency allowed staff to service consumers, should agency be responsible for paying employees. Absolutely unless you've signed a contract and there is some fine print. What does the contract say? |
