Any expert advice on one person health insurance for the self-employed? |
I have no idea where to start looking for health insurance for the self-employed. Any advice?? I think you already know that purchasing health insurance is an important project. You need a trusted adviser to help you through the process so that you understand what you are purchasing. Some suggest going on line to get a quote but there is so much more to the decision than price. Easy Enough... Call Blue Cross for a few options. I don't know... but i do know you should watch out for scams... I'll be watching this question for the same advice... you never know whats a scam or not, so be careful. I had united health care that i bought when i was unemployed. it was actually really affordable. I've been self employed for the last 12 years, in those twelve years, I would've needed it once, I broke my leg, $600, they take payments, $50 a month, one year, I'm all taken care of.
