Insurance wait question? |
We have already given our personal statements to the insurance co. concerning a personal injury claim. They have also taken statements from the general contractor and was putting the framing contractor on notice and that they also needed his statement also. This was about a month ago. OK, an attorney is going to take 1/3 of whatever you get, AND you can be pretty much guaranteed that the claim won't settle for at least a year if you get one. They are stalling. Insurance companies have claim money invested and every day that they can delay a payout means more interest income for them. If you have a PI Claim and you don't have an Attorney, you are at the mercy of the insurance company. Not good for you, very good for the insurance company. Sorry. |
