Anyone know how I can go about canceling my Gerber LIfe Insurance?

Hi when my daughter was born I applie for a Life Insurance company called the "Gerber Life Insurance" policy. I've been paying it for about 2 years now but would like to cancel it. Does anyone else have it, can you please explain the benefits? or how I can go about canceling it and will my money be returned. Thanks!

You can look in the Gerber Life Insurance Policy for information on "Cancellation".

Usually, the life insurance company requires a written request mailed to the insurance company, requesting cancellation of the life insurance policy.

If you have questions about the benefits of the life insurance policy, it may be explained in the policy itself; however, you may want to call Gerber Life and ask for a written explanation of the benefits.

If your policy has been in effect for more than 30 days, usually there is no return of premiums paid.

However, you may receive a pro-rata return of premium that has been paid for future month's coverage.

I hope that helps! Best of luck to you and your family.

How is it paid? If they just send a bill and you cut a check to pay it, it will cancel for non-payment when you quit paying.

If you signed up for an automatic deduction, you will need to call them to cancel it.

More than likely you will not be eligible for a refund, generally they bill you when for the current period. Again, call them to see how far ahead you are paid and how to cancel.

Or just quit paying it.

I suggest you call them if you need to have the benefits explained. You can also tell them you want to cancel it. There should be an 800 number on the policy opremium notice.
No, your money will not be returned. You did receive protection, and they have a right to be paid for it.
I urge you to keep the policy, because you'll never again see cheaper line ins coverage. Cost increases with ago.

You have to put the request in writing.

As for benefits . . .it's life insurance. It's the most expensive way to buy the least coverage, for someone who's least likely to need it.

I don't insure my kids' lives.

no you can get your Money back from it is been to log for it to got your money back from it now from Rhoda Marie smith at JWCC and i wit to WIU
